Going against the general digital trend, I decided to publish a photography book in print. Although it may seem that no one needs photo books anymore, I hope there will be those who wish to experience photography not just on a phone or monitor. The images capture my native region, which I have been visiting and photographing for the past twenty years. They are collected across 136 A4 pages, in a hardcover edition, with most photographs printed full-page. I invite you to explore this publication, to discover the landscapes, wildlife, and the archaeological traces of the region’s long history.

These photographs come from a small region of Poland. It is not particularly well-known or popular, yet it is undeniably unique. The images were captured during my trips to Brodnica, a town that served as a base for exploring the beautiful Drwęca Valley, surrounding forests, and numerous lakes.
